Peabody Vs. Saugus: A Thanksgiving High School Football Tradition

The Tanners will look to close out an electric season with a victory against their North Shore rival.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Veterans Memorial High School football team will look to finish a fantastic season in style on Thanksgiving morning when the Tanners travel to face rival Saugus.

The Tanners went undefeated in the regular season this fall — including a 40-7 romp past Marblehead that ended the Magicians' two-year win streak — before the Tanners fell to Bishop Feehan in the Division 2 playoff opener against Bishop Feehan.

Peabody bounced back with a 53-point showing against Westford in the consolation round to take a 9-1 record into Thursday's game against Saugus (1-9).
