Peabody YMCA Tabs New Branch Executive Director
Cara Green takes the helm of the Torigian Family YMCA after serving as operations director and branch co-director for the past year.

PEABODY, MA — Cara Green is eager to use her more than two decades of experience working for the YMCA of Metro North to make a difference in the lives of Peabody residents as the new executive director of the Torigian Family YMCA.
An equity and mission leadership award recipient, Green previously served as operations director and brand co-director in Peabody for the past year after more than 20 years at the Merrimack Valley YMCA where she worked in child care, youth services, membership, and health and wellness programs.
"For the past 22 years, I have made my career at the YMCA and it is a privilege to take on this important role in the Peabody community," Green said. "The Y is more than a place to work out, we are a purpose and I look forward to expanding our mission and engaging more people in Peabody, Lynnfield, and the surrounding area with our healthy living and youth development activities."
