Peabody’s Montbleau and Band to Headline Cape Cod Music Festival

The Ryan Montbleau Band will headline this year's Naukabout Music Festival in East Falmouth on Aug. 6.

On the heels of finishing his band’s sixth album, Peabody native Ryan Montbleau is heading back to Cape Cod this summer (with the band in tow) for a fourth consecutive appearance at the Naukabout Music Festival.

This year’s festival celebrates some of New England’s homegrown music, including the Ryan Montbleau Band with its stylistic blend of neo-folk, classic soul and heartwarming Americana. The six-person band has been tapped to headline the festival on Aug. 6.

With Montbleau on guitar and lead vocals, James Cohen comes in on drums, Jason Cohen on keys, Matt Giannaros on bass, Laurence Scudder on viola and Yahuba on percussion. Giannaros, Scudder and Yahuba also add vocals to the mix as well.

“This year, the Naukabout will be better than ever. Ryan Montbleau has been part of the festival since we started it and has proven to be our biggest draw each year. He will deliver a show to remember,” said Jeff Conley, a festival organizer, in a press release.

The Naukabout is held at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in East Falmouth on Aug. 6 from 12:30-10 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.naukabout.com for $27 in advance and $37 at the gate. Children under 12 are free, and donations will be accepted at the gates for the designated charities of Naukabout Gives.
