Police Log: Children Searching for Zombies on Pumping Station Road Area, Road Rage Over Parking Space and Gunshots Reported

Sunday, Nov. 9

At 3:31 p.m., police investigated a road rage incident on Andover Street. Reporting party stated that she was with her child and afraid of the other driver. Dispute over a parking space.

At 3:29 p.m., police investigated reports of gunshots from wooded area on Glen Drive.

At 4:49 p.m., Reports of a disturbance on Shore Drive. Calling party reported excessive noise coming from above her apartment. Officers spoke to reporting party, as well as party in upstairs unit causing noise. Officers discovered that the noise was coming from a small child, and that not much could be done about the matter.Officers reported calling party was not satisfied with the outcome.

At 5:58 p.m., police investigated reports of harassment on Allens Lane. Reporting party reports harassment through text messages from her daughters boyfriend. Reporting party was advised that text messages would be documented, and that if she wished to seek a complaint for a harassment prevention order, she would need to file one at Peabody District Court.

At 8:18 p.m., suspicious activity reported on Rainbow Road. Calling party reported that a man and woman were seen walking through people lawns at the intersection of Lynn Street and Rainbow Road. Officer reported that children from Pumping Station Road area were searching for zombies in the area. They were sent home.

At 8:19 p.m., hit and run accident reported on Lowell Street. Vehicle struck a parked vehicle, Reporting party witnesses the incident. Vehicle damaged.

At 8:21 p.m., police investigated report of fraud on Allens Lane. Reporting party reported that Comcast has reached out to him and informed him that a resident in Dorchester is using his

social security number for the account.

At 10:24 p.m., female party reported someone just threw a rock through her

window at her house at Mobile Estates on Newbury Street.

Monday, Nov. 10

At 8:21 a.m., reports of someone sleeping in a Dumpster at Walgreen’s on Main Street.

At 8:30 a.m., reported motor vehicle accident on Milk Street. Vehicle towed.

At 10:23 a.m., vandalism reported at Brooksby Farm. An employee reported vandalism that occurred over the weekend. The officer stated that a sign valued at $2500 and a mailbox valued at $400 were damaged.

At 10:48 a.m., reports of shoplifting at CVS on Main Street. Man stole a pair of slippers.

At 11:55 a.m., motor vehicle accident investigated at Northshore Mall. No injuries.

At 12:56 p.m., suspicious activity reported at Northshore Mall. Security reports a suspicious package that was left by the tunnel. Package was checked out by the Fire Department and was

empty. All in order.
