'Run For The Roses' To Benefit Peabody Public Schools Programs
The Peabody Education Foundation will host a Kentucky Derby-style party on Derby Day at the Black Box Theater.
PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents and horse racing fans are invited to bring their best Derby hats and their taste for mint juleps to the Peabody Education Foundation's "Run for the Roses: Big Hats & Fast Horses" fundraiser at the Black Box Theater.
The event will take place on Derby day — May 13 — from 7 to 11 p.m. with a night of fun dress, Southern charm, games and entertainment. There will also be food stations, a cash bar, music, raffles and a best-dressed contest.
Money raised will go toward the Peabody Education Association's efforts to support programs at Peabody Public Schools.
