A limited quantity of high-dose flu vaccine is available for those 65 and older at the clinics. A regular dose quadrivalent vaccine will also be available for all others.

The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone ages 6 months and older. The vaccine has been shown to reduce the chances of getting sick with flu by 40 to 60 percent. The vaccine also reduces the chances of becoming severely ill if you do get the flu.

Senior Day is free to all Peabody seniors and transportation is available from the Torigian Senior Center at 79 Central Street. To make a reservation, please contact the Peabody Council on Aging at 978-531-2254.
