Shaw's Reusable Bag Purchases To Benefit Peabody Schools In May

One dollar for every $3 bag sold in May will go back to the Peabody Educational Foundation to support programs and technology.

PEABODY, MA — One dollar from every $3 reusable shopping bag sold at the Shaw's Essex Center Drive location during May will go to the Peabody Education Foundation to benefit public school programs.

The PEF was selected for Shaw's "Give Back Where It Counts" program.

Since its inception in 2019, Shaw's said the program has donated more than $380,000 to 270 nonprofits.

The PEF program helps support programming and advanced technology for Peabody students who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

The programs are intended to create inspiration and encourage creativity among Peabody students regardless of income level.
