Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Set For Peabody Public Library

The April 8 eclipse is the last one for the next 21 years.

PEABODY, MA — The upcoming solar eclipse will be the last one for more than two decades and the Peabody Public Library is offering residents a free and safe way to see this astronomical phenomenon.

On April 8, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., the library will host a Solar Eclipse Party in the main library's courtyard. The event will include snacks, music, activities and eclipse viewing glasses to protect the eyes while looking at the sun.

Registration is not required. This event is free and open to the public for all ages.
