There's An App For That: PeabodyConnect Launched In 3 Languages

PEABODY, MA — A new phone application is designed to make it easier for Peabody residents to find information on public meetings, community events, contact city departments and report problems ranging from potholes to missed trash pickup.

Mayor Ted Bettencourt announced the launch of the PeabodyConnects app on Monday, which was developed with the help of a $50,000 state IT grant and contracted with Bluestone Apps.

"We want to meet people where they are in terms of delivering the outstanding municipal services that taxpayers expect," Bettencourt said. "The PeabodyConnect mobile app is designed to make it easier for residents and business owners to get what they need when they need it."

PeabodyConnects is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

It can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.
