Torigian Family YMCA Invites The Community To Its Spring Blood Drive
Torigian Family YMCA is partnering with the Northeast Chapter of the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on April 2, 2023.
The YMCA of Metro North is partnering with the Northeast Chapter of the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at the Torigian Family YMCA. The blood drives will occur on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 259 Lynnfield Street in Peabody. Perspective donors can sign up for 40 timeslots during each drive.
“We encourage everyone who is healthy to sign up and give blood,” said Cara Green, Executive Director of the Torigian Family YMCA.
Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood and or platelets, and blood supplies are at historically low levels. The Red Cross is asking the Peabody community to volunteer to give blood to help them save lives.

Donors can call 1-800-733-2767 or by visiting RedCrossBlood.org to schedule an appointment. Donors should enter the zip code: 01960 to find the April 2nd blood drive in Peabody.
