Two Walk Away With Minor Injuries After Horrific Peabody Crash
The crash left a telephone broken into two places, but no one was seriously injured.

PEABODY, MA -- Two men were injured in a crash on Osborne Street in Peabody Wednesday evening, but not as seriously as the crash scene would indicate. The crash left a utility pole broken into two pieces after a Mitsubishi hit a Maserati driven by Esteban Acosta, 55, of Salem, that had run a stop sign and was pushed into the pole.
Jack Donahue, 27, of Peabody, who was driving the Mitsubishi, and passenger Jareem Brogden, 27, of Peabody, were taken to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. Acosta, who was summonsed for failing to stop, was uninjured.
Acosta told police he slowed at the stop sign as he drove east on Beckett Street but did not see the Mitsubishi, which was traveling north on Osborne. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
