Answer: "I Hate You, Dad" is slated to hit theaters next summer. The actual date varies between June 15 and 22, depending on which Internet entertainment news source you read. A safe bet would just be mid to late June, 2012.

Two separate scenes for the film, which stars Adam Sandler, Leighton Meester, Susan Sarandon and Andy Samberg, were shot in Peabody this past summer. Other scenes were shot in Lynn, Everett, Boston and Cape Cod.

The nightclub shoot most notably slowed passing traffic on Route 1 with its titillating new sign, featuring a nude pink-haired female strategically covered up by a plate of bacon and eggs. The sign read: "Classy Rick's Bacon & Leggs."

The movie is about "a disagreeable father who moves in with his son before he's about to get married," according to the Internet Movie Database.
