• Bentley baseball falls to Tampa in opener of double-elimination NCAA Division 2 World Series (bostonglobe.com) — Plainville’s own Brendan Sencaj made history on a national stage, belting a ninth-inning solo home run in Bentley University’s first-ever NCAA Division II World Series appearance. Although Bentley fell to Tampa, the Falcons will play Catawba in an elimination game Monday afternoon, with Sencaj and other local standouts looking to keep their season alive.
