Forty-one were arrested at a huge off-campus party near Bridgewater State University Sunday morning.

BRIDGEWATER, MA — Forty-one partygoers were arrested Sunday morning at an ”out-of-control” house party in Bridewater attended by scores of students, police said.
Bridegwater police said they responded to a residence at 141 Maple Ave. near Bridgewater State University early Sunday morning at about 1 a.m. after receiving a call from a neighbor. Officers said the house was full of college students, alcohol, and stolen street signs. The partygoers were “ yelling and breaking glass,” according to Bridegwater police Chief Christopher Delmonte.
The alleged party hosts—Andrew Jucket, 21, of Bridgewater, and Juan Perez, 21, of Everett—were charged with disturbing the peace, keeping a disorderly house, furnishing alcohol to minors, and obstruction of justice.

“Our residents should not have to put up with this,” Delmonte said in a statement. “The number of people arrested and the charges levied against each of them should underscore the burden a few can place on neighborhoods and the amount of municipal resources required to restore order.”
