Beth Jacob Community Hosts Holocaust Remembrance Service

Congregation Beth Jacob welcomes all to help observe Yom Ha-shoah, or Holocaust Memorial Day.

Congregation Beth Jacob’s Community Observance of Yom Ha-shoah, or Holocaust Memorial Day observance, will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, at the at 25 1/2 Court St.

The Plymouth High Schools Singers will perform special music.

Lilliane Birch will talk about her mother’s experience as a Holocaust survivor at the annual commemoration.

Prior to the observance there will be a ceremony at 6:45 p.m. at the Holocaust memorial in Beth Jacob Cemetery, located in Vine Hills Cemetery off Route 44.

This event sponsored is by the Plymouth No Place for Hate committee and Plymouth-area Interfaith Clergy Association. All are welcome to attend both events.
