Plymouth South Bomb Threat: Classes Resume

Police descended on Plymouth South Middle School Tuesday morning after staff received an automated phone call.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A bomb threat was directed at Plymouth South Middle School Tuesday morning.

School officials announced at about 11 a.m. that they received the threat in an automated phone call. Students were moved to safe areas inside the building as police conducted a search. Nothing was found and classes resumed as usually by about 11:30 a.m.

Another bomb threat was called in to Arlington High School Tuesday morning.

On Friday, there were nearly a dozen bomb threats at school across Massachusetts.

Plymouth school officials said the threat they received Tuesday was similar to those made on Friday.
