​The MIAA football playoffs begin in Eastern Mass. and Devin DeMeritt's speed puts the Duxbury Dragons up fast!

On the first play from scrimmage the states #1 running back Devin DeMeritt scored on a 37-yard touchdown run.

“I tell all of the coaches that are now calling about Devin, this kid has legit speed; 4.54 laser timed 40” said Mairaron “I invite all of them to stop by and see for themselves. Devin will be at the top of our weight room record boards for a long time to come.” Mairaron added

DeMeritt had eight rushes for 132 yards and two TDs in the first. He continues to lead the state with 22 touchdowns, 937 rushing yards on 62 carries (averaging over 15+ yards per carry) and over 1400 total yards.

The top-seeded Green Dragons (8-0) rolled over the eighth-seeded Titans to advance to the Div. 2 South semifinals against No. 4 Stoughton.

Head Coach Dave Mairaron noted that DeMeritt is currently corresponding with Yale, Villanova, Georgetown, UNH, HolyCross, and Bentley.
