WATCH: Fire Causes Major Fireworks Display to Explode at Once
Two fireworks barges caught fire in Plymouth during its July 4th celebration Monday.

Plymouth, MA — A malfunction caused all the fireworks on a barge to explode at once in a frightening scene at Plymouth's Fourth of July celebration.
Thousands of spectators along the waterfront witnessed the explosion:

A second barge also caught fire; both blazes were extinguished, and no one was hurt. The show was cut short.

Malfunction caused fire on first barge. Second barge had another malfunction. No injuries occurred. Fire Marshall is investigating.

Police blamed the incidents on "malfunctions." The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
Update: Plymouth authorities warned the public that fireworks will likely wash ashore in the coming days. The public is urged not to touch them—as they could still be explosive—and call 911 immediately.
