First Parish Church Presents Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse
Rob Flax performs, leads instrument jam

Duxbury’s First Parish Church presents Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse, a new concert series for performers and audiences of all ages, on Friday, October 7, from 8 to 10 pm at First Parish Church’s Harvey Assembly Hall, 842 Tremont Street (Rte. 3A), Duxbury. A one-hour, multi-instrument jam begins at 8 pm, followed by a feature performance by Boston-based violinist and singer Rob Flax at 9 pm.
Open to the public, the Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse invites performers to entertain diverse audiences at the open mic session with their unique talent in vocal, instrumental, or theatrical performances. A sound system and piano are available for performer’s use. Future featured acts scheduled to appear this season include Cape Cod singer/songwriter Catie Flynn and South Shore singer/songwriters Jay Psaros and Matt York.
This month, in place of an open mic, dynamic musician and educator Rob Flax leads a multi-instrument jam from 8 to 9 pm. Musicians of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join this informal event or come with a tune they would like to lead in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
