1. My Celtic roots threaten to grow between my toes. I prefer cool and foggy to the hot days of summer, but the seedlings on the deck have white feathery stuff between and among them. The National Weather Service says wet, to some chance of more wet, to some chances of wetness through the week.

4. Listen to chamber music, free. The Dr. Richard M. Shiff Forum presents: Chamber Music Concert for Piano and Violin Duo with pianist Minna Han and violinist Joo-in Lee in the Otto Fehlow Meeting Room of the Plymouth Public Library from 7–8:30pm. The Korean natives who now live in the United States are among the best young classical music artists in the country. They have performed at prestigious programs and concerts around the world. Han won first place in a national piano competition in Korea when she was eleven. She received her bachelors and masters of music from Indiana University and doctorate at the University of Maryland. Lee began her violin studies at the age of eight. She received her music degree in Seoul and masters at the University of Maryland, where she is a doctoral candidate.
5. Sniff for mildew. Household mold has begun to appear and with days of dampness forecast, it threatens to take hold. Prepare a 10-one mixture of bleach and water in a spray bottle to treat surfaces subject to growth, like refregerator exteriors and basement walls. Put towels and other moist items in the washer requently. Household mold can cause damage and poses threats to health.
