Friends of Plymouth Dog Park Giving Thanks to Wishbones for Pets

Wishbones for Pets selects Friends of Plymouth Dog Park for 2016 charity drive

PLYMOUTH, Mass., Oct. 15– Friends of Plymouth Dog Park is thrilled to announce that Wishbones for Pets, the professional pet sitter charity organization, has selected our Plymouth dogs for the 2016 charity drive.

For the past 13 years, with the help of local veterinarians, retail, and caring Plymouth residents, Wishbones for Pets has donated large amounts of pet supplies to shelters and has even assisted the Plymouth Council on Aging. This year, the group turns its attention to the recently approved Plymouth dog park effort. In May, the Board of Selectman approved a dog park located adjacent to the West Plymouth Recreation Park.

Carol Shapiro of Paws in Paradise, Pamela Ranheim of Just Around the Corner, Mary Kuemmeth of Pets Plus and Janet Depathy, founder of Wishbones for Pets, are excited to let you know that the four Plymouth branches of Rockland Trust are accepting donations for Friends of the Plymouth Dog Park from October 15 through November 30. Visit the display inside the banks and help us make this a reality for the town!
