Gov Charlie Baker Signing Energy Bill at 1:30 PM

The Massachusetts Legislature passed a compromise energy bill to significantly increase electricity produced by renewable energy sources.

Governor Baker is expected sign the bill Monday at 1:30 PM. The bill will guarantee contracts for 1,600 megawatts of offshore wind energy and 1,200 megawatts of hydroelectricity from Canada and onshore wind energy.

One small problem is the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. The state agency helped produced wind turbine noise studies in over twenty communities that had under estimated noise studies taking the health and property rights of thousands of citizens with no compensation.

Wind turbine documents, maps, studies, memos, letters and videos show the state was aware the turbines were dangerously too loud prior to the installations.

Falmouth is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States with more than eleven ongoing lawsuits over a noise described as torture from lack of sleep.

Our politicians and news media are well aware of the embarrassing placement of megawatt wind turbines in Massachusetts. The land based commercial wind projects are in shambles.
Massachusetts residents are spending millions protecting their property rights from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center which was financed by residents of Massachusetts. You can say residential home owners are paying for the ammunition to help the state continue what is described as torture.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center used the ill conceived wind studies to promote a political commercial wind turbine agenda in an effort to form a consensus to a standard set of belief patterns in favor of megawatt wind turbines.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center was supposed to create a war on fossil fuels not the citizens of Massachusetts . The state agency used propaganda as a powerful weapon in the so called war on fossil fuels. The state agency has created and dehumanized a second class group of wind turbine victims in Massachusetts in at least twenty one communities.

The wind victims who are the collateral damage in the war on fossil fuels have been painted by the news media as the hated supposed enemy because they don't want to give up their health and property rights for the majority.

The land based wind projects in Massachusetts are a health and financial fiasco thanks to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.

Now comes the Massachusetts ocean wind turbines:

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center again dropped the ball in New Bedford. There is no ocean wind turbine port and there are no jobs.

The embarrassed politicians and local news media continue to tout the New Bedford ocean wind turbine port as a completed project in an effort to hide the truth of throwing away almost 200 million in New Bedford Harbor

The Massachusetts general public is aware over 113 million dollars was bonded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to build the incomplete New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal. A so called ocean wind turbine port.

The terminal has been renamed several times over the past few years in an attempt to hide the massive boondoggle.

The bond payments are $187,500.00 a month for thirty years at taxpayer expense.
The port remains incomplete with no lease and no port operator and is facing a new 23 million dollar lawsuit over dredging of the inner harbor.

There are no large walking cranes at the site and a rail remains over a half mile away.

The hurricane gate only has a legal opening of 120 feet in which large wind turbine "jack-up" barges do not fit.

The channel outside the hurricane gates for five miles out to the ocean still needs dredging of one million cubic yards of PCB contaminated soil. The channel can only be used at high tide.

The current plan is to dump the dredged contaminated soil in Cape Cod Bay near Wellfleet.

The wind turbine jobs have all gone to Quonset Point, Rhode Island which has two 1500 foot channels to the ocean and dock space able to handle four World War battleships at a time.

Deepwater Wind, Providence, Rhode Island is using Quonset Point as its base of operation.
The Port of Providence, Rhode Island has one of the largest barges in the world to install offshore wind turbine blades and is the process of completing the construction of 5 offshore wind turbines twice the size of the Cape Wind turbines.

Recently the Cape Cod Times ran an opinion piece signed by Paul Vigeant is the managing director of the New Bedford Wind Energy Center.

Last week Cashman Dredging and Marine Co., of Quincy, and New Jersey-based Weeks Marine Inc. contractors who did harbor dredging for the Marine Commerce Terminal project are suing the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center for more than $23 million. Port remains incomplete with costs heading to 200 million in an ongoing fiasco.
