'Jaws' for Paws
Take a dip in Cape Cod Bay to raise money for the Friends of the Plymouth Pound.

It's Shark Week and the date is set for a new fundraiser for the Friends of the Plymouth Pound.
After more than 35 years of fearing the ocean--thanks to a little movie invovling a rather large shark--FPP founder and president Gayle Fitzpatrick is taking to the sea once more and is inviting all brave souls to take a dip in Cape Cod Bay.
The swim benefits FPP's spay and neuter program.

The "Shark Reception" will be held Sept. 9 at Hemisphere Restaurant in Sandwich. Tickets are $25 and includes a light buffet and dessert. After lunch, the brave souls will enter the water.
Tickets are available at the FPP's Adoption Center at the Independence Mall in Kingston, or at the FPP's annual Dog Walk at Morton Park, Sept. 8, and at the FPP's website.
