Plymouth Man Charged with Assault and Battery on Person Over 60 in Arlington

Police arrested a 47-year-old Plymouth man on Cornell Street in East Arlington Wednesday afternoon and charged him with assault and battery on a person over 60.
Joseph A. Roper, of Sandwich Road, Plymouth, was wanted in connection with an assault on Mystic Street in Arlington Tuesday night, according to police. An officer spotted Roper Wednesday afternoon standing in a Cornell Street driveway.
