UPDATE: Man Confirmed Dead in Route 3 Crash
A New Bedford man has died after his box truck flipped over on Route 3 South.
UPDATE:
According to State Police the 2001 GMC Sierra pickup was being driven by a 49-year-old New Bedford man. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the center median, striking several trees, before rolling over, and coming to rest on the driver’s side. The driver was not wearing a seat belt.
The truck belongs to Green Pond Fish n' Gear of Falmouth.

A man has died from injuries he recieved when his box truck rolled over on Route 3 South this afternoon.

State Police confirm that the man died of his injuries, but have not released the man's name.
The crash occurred at 2:25 p.m. on Route 3 just north of Exit 3, Clark Road. Currently, traffic is only getting by in the break-down lane.
Troopers from the Bourne Barracks are being assisted at the scene by the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and Plymouth County State Police Detective Unit. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is en route to the scene as well.
