Plymouth Announces Coronavirus Service Updates
Plymouth officials working with hospital for screening area, close many town offices.
PLYMOUTH, MA — Plymouth Town Manager Melissa Arrighi announced on Sunday that the town, through the public health and public safety staff, is working with the hospital to help establish a distinct location for coronavirus screening and potential testing purpose. The town has also activated the Emergency Operations Center for communications.
Plymouth Schools, the senior center, libraries, Memorial Hall and the youth center have all closed. But all other town services remain available. Attendance at public meetings should be limited, town services should be requested through phone or email, and those not feeling well are asked not to visit public places.
"We are doing everything possible to help in limiting the exposure and spread of this virus," Arrighi said. "We are available if you have any questions — please email me at marrighi@townhall.plymouth.ma.us."
