It was Senator DeMacedo's office that arranged the meeting between the Buzzards Bay Citizens Action Committee and the Director of the Southeast Regional Office of the MassDEP - the agency charged with enforcing 310 CMR 7.0 (Noise Pollution).

The Senator's aide spoke an ugly TRUTH - it is obvious to the neighbors, and those that advocate for them, that state officials, including politicians, regulatory agency employees, local boards including Boards of Health in addition to wind industry consultants who set aside their ethical standards to subvert the full scale of the noise violations, ALL have denied the harm to neighbors - NOW we have an admission that they just don't care if neighbors are sick - A NEW admission.

To be clear - the Senator that represents this district has claimed that he will "help" - to date a meeting has been arranged which you can all view - what remains to be seen is IF this Senator will pull on his big boy pants and go up against the corruption "in Boston" and in our local communities OR if he will settle for having allowed a meeting where neighbors can air their complaints and leave it at that.

This Senator represents Falmouth and Kingston - communities that have allowed the suffering of neighbors for many years - so it could be said this Senator is among those who "don't care" or fingers crossed this Senator may finally "get it" and take any and all action to support an end to the acoustic trespass and resulting public health crisis for those who live TOO CLOSE to these negligently sited wind power plants.
