Local Businesswoman and CPA Lauren Bakken Takes New Post

(Plymouth, MA) – January 30, 2014 –Lauren Bakken, owner of Bakken CPA PC, a Certified Public Accounting firm in downtown Plymouth was recently appointed to the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce’s Chairperson position.

Bakken is replacing former chair Laurie Klotzbach Curtis who served as Chairperson for the Plymouth Chamber since last January 2012. Bakken was appointed at the Chamber’s annual meeting on January 10th, at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Massachusetts.

“I have held the positions of Vice-Chair and Membership Committee Chair for the past two years. In my new position, I will be supporting and working closely with Amy Naples, Director of Operations and the interim Executive Director. Our goal is to increase membership, and increase revenue through sponsorships and programs,” said Bakken.

The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce will also focus on appointing a new Executive Director to support its existing leadership team and the Chamber’s long-term vision.
