Plymouth Man Found Dead Was Sports TV Journalist

Carl Pratt hosted more than 1,000 episodes of "The Video Sports Page."

A Plymouth man found dead in his vehicle over the weekend has been identified as a longtime sports television journalist.

Carl Pratt, 60, was found unresponsive in his 2013 Lexus sedan in Raynham Saturday night. He was transported to Taunton’s Morton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said foul play is not suspected.

Pratt owned CAP Sports Productions and covered local sports since 1988. He hosted “The Video Sports Page,” a local cable access show that aired 1,280 episodes.

“He lived his dream,” his obituary reads.

He also worked for Richards Micro Tools.

He leaves behind a wife and three children.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Plymouth. His funeral will be held the next day at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth.
