Plymouth North Loses to Marshfield In 2nd Round, 2-1
The season is over for the Plymouth North boys hockey team.
PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth North Blue Eagles boys hockey team travelled to Bog Arena in Kingston to face the Marshfield Rams in the third round of the Patriot Cup.
Marshfield is the #2 seed and Plymouth North is the #3 seed in the Keenan Division. This made Marshfield the “home team” in this matchup.
In the first period, Will Doherty of Marshfield score the first goal of the game. Then, Plymouth North ended up tying the game at 1 by a Tyler Lawrence goal. The game stayed tied at 1 until Andrew Guilfoyle scored a goal for Marshfield 1:37 into the third period to take the lead 2-1. Plymouth North would end up losing 2-1 against Marshfield.

Plymouth North’s boys hockey finished the season with a record of 8-6-1. Marshfield will be facing Hanover at Gallo Arena in Kingston on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the semifinals.
Plymouth North Boys Hockey has six seniors who will be graduating this year and just played their last hockey game for the high school.
