A Plymouth seafood restaurant has opened a new location in Hingham.

Union Fish Seafood & Raw Bar opened in the Hingham Shipyard Tuesday with an indoor dining room, full service bar, and al fresco patio seating.

The restaurant seats a total of 70 patrons and its menu includes signature seafood dishes such as Pan Roasted Striped Bass with Bacon, Brussels and crispy Shallots and Baked Local Haddock with a Leek and Crab Crust over Potato Puree.

Union Fish will also offer crispy fried seafood and an extensive raw bar menu with fresh shellfish.

Co-owner Chris Tocchio and General Manager Nicole Crosby  believe the restaurant will be a good fit in Hingham as the there isn't many sit-down seafood restaurants in town.

"People are looking for an independent seafood spot in Hingham," Crosby told Patch earlier this Spring.

Union Fish, which also has a location on Plymouth’s waterfront, is operated by Dramshop, owner of the award-winning Regal Beagle in Brookline, and Church Restaurant & Nightclub in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood.

The Shipyard's developers researched the Plymouth location and thought it would be a good fit to bring a location to Hingham.

Union Fish is located at 23 Shipyard Drive, across from Wahburgers and Alma Nove and behind the Patriot Cinemas.
