Earlier this month, Yarmouth Police posted to Facebook to alert residents of Stangl in the community. Though Stangl isn’t wanted by police, Yarmouth Police asked the public to be ”vigilant” given Stangl’s high-level sex offender status.

“Mr. Stangl has the right to travel and drive anywhere and everyone should be reminded that he currently has the right to be free and no one should harass or intimidate him. It is a crime,” wrote Yarmouth Police earlier this month.
