Shark Sighting Forces Plymouth Beach Closures
A shark sighting on Saturday off the Plymouth coast forced town officials to close two beaches.
Plymouth, MA — Two Plymouth beaches were closed Saturday after a shark sighting.
Plymouth police said a shark was seen near White Horse Beach in the afternoon. Swimmers were ordered out of the water.
White Horse Beach and Plymouth Beach will be closed until at least Sunday morning, officials said. A reopening time has not yet been announced.
