Snow, More Snow, and Still More Snow, with Rain

We might finally be getting the snow we've been waiting for all winter.

It's going to snow, finally.

According to the National Weather Service it will start snowing this afternoon and will continue, as snow and rain, off and on, until Saturday.

Today, the snow will begin mainly after 3 p.m. with an east wind around 8 mph and temperatures hovering around 34. Total daytime snow accumulation will be less than an inch, if it sticks at all.

Tonight: Snow before 8pm, then rain and snow. Patchy fog. Low around 32. East wind between 11 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Thursday: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 3pm. Patchy fog. High near 39. East wind between 13 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday Night: Rain and snow likely before 9pm, then a chance of snow. Patchy fog after 8pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind between 11 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday: A slight chance of snow before 9am. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 42. East wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Friday Night: A chance of showers, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday: Showers likely, mainly before 4pm. Cloudy and breezy, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
