Spire Center Puts New Concerts on Sale Saturday, Including Homelessness Benefit

PLYMOUTH, MA — The Spire Center for Performing Arts has added a new batch of concerts to its schedule — including a November benefit supporting the Plymouth Task Force to End Homelessness — with tickets going on sale Saturday, Sept. 19 at 6 a.m.

The newly announced shows, all at 8 p.m. with 7 p.m. doors at the Spire, 25 1/2 Court St.:

Saturday, Nov. 14 — The Yellowhouse Blues Band

The Yellowhouse Blues Band, a 9-piece high-energy blues and blues-rock band with horns and multiple vocalists, performs a benefit for the Plymouth Task Force to End Homelessness, whose mission is to end homelessness in the Plymouth area. The band is known for putting its own take on popular songs and making them its own.

Friday, Nov. 27 — Say Darling

Say Darling is the duo of Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Celia Woodsmith of the acclaimed bluegrass band Della Mae and guitarist Chris Hersch, formerly of the alt-country rock band Girls Guns & Glory. Ten years ago both stepped back from their international touring projects and ended up back home in New England, where the new project was born. Blending distinctive original songs with classic tunes that pay homage to a shared musical heritage, Say Darling evokes the funky drive of Little Feat, the moving vocals of Bonnie Raitt and the instrumental prowess of the Tedeschi-Trucks Band.

Saturday, Dec. 5 — The World’s Greatest Elvis

The World’s Greatest Elvis features Travis Ledoyt, a singer, songwriter and performer whose Elvis Presley tribute launched in 2001 and has since drawn high praise from those who knew Elvis personally — including D.J. Fontana, Elvis Presley’s drummer, who called it “as close as you’ll get to seeing a concert by Elvis Presley in the early years.” Though based in the U.S., Ledoyt performs around the globe, from Hong Kong to the UK.

Thursday, Dec. 17 — Lúnasa’s “Irish Solstice Celebration”

Lúnasa’s “Irish Solstice Celebration,” with special guest Dave Curley, arrives in Plymouth just days before the longest night. Named for an ancient Celtic harvest festival, Lúnasa was formed in 1997 from members of some of the greatest Irish groups of the previous decade; the band’s complex arrangements and unique sound reshaped the boundaries of traditional music and energized audiences the world over. For the 2026 winter season the band is joined by Curley, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Galway, Ireland, and a member of the award-winning Irish trad bands One for the Foxes and Slide.
