Spring Registration Opens for Americana Theatre Company's Studio Americana Performing Arts Programs
Variety of youth theatre programs offered in America's Hometown
Americana Theatre Company's (ATC) Studio Americana youth performing arts classes are now open for Spring 2017 registration. Classes begin on Monday, April 3, and are held at The Plymouth Center for the Arts, 11 North Street, Plymouth.
Studio Americana’s mission is to develop talent, inspire creativity, and prepare students to activate their dreams. They offer premiere training in theatre and musical theatre for students at affordable rates.
Aspiring kid actors can register for the popular Mini-Starz class. This class gives elementary students an opportunity to discover the magic of the stage, learn stage presence, confidence, and basic vocal technique as they rehearse and perform a show! Classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. This season, the class performs the classic Sleeping Beauty on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00 pm.

Other opportunities include Page to Stage, which teaches students ages 7 to 11 the mechanics of theatre from start to finish as they write, direct and perform and original story. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 5:45 pm. Let's Make a Musical walks middle and high school students through the process of writing, directing, and performing a musical, meeting on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Students from the Page to Stage and Let's Make a Musical programs perform in a cabaret style Spring Showcase on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:00 pm.
