State Police Nab Alleged Drug Dealer in Plymouth

Police confiscated 196 grams of suspected cocaine and 10 grams of suspected heroin.

Massachusetts State Police arrested a 28-year-old Brockton man and confiscated 196 grams of suspected cocaine and 10 grams of suspected heroin on Saturday afternoon.

Trooper Michael Finley of the Norwell Barracks stopped an Infiniti sedan on Commerce Way in Plymouth for motor vehicle violations at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The driver, Robert P. Simeone Jr., 28, of Brockton attempted to run away when police found the narcotics. State Police with help from Plymouth Police Officers John Bonasera and Michael Glowka captured the man after a brief foot chase. Trooper Andrew Mason also arrived to assist.

According to State Police:

“As a result of an investigation, the man was found to be in possession of approximately 196 grams of suspected cocaine and 10 grams of suspected heroin.

“In addition to motor vehicle offenses, the man was charged with, Trafficking in Cocaine (100-200 grams), Distributing a Class A Substance, and Resisting Arrest.”

Police also found more than $11,000 in cash, which they believe was connected with drug sales.
