Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse Concert Series and Open Mic Welcomes Local Performers

New concert series and open mic for performers and audiences of all ages

The debut of Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse, a new concert series for performers and audiences of all ages, launches on Friday, September 9, from 8 to 10 pm at First Parish Church’s Harvey Assembly Hall, 842 Tremont Street (Rte. 3A), Duxbury. A one-hour open mic session kicks off the event at 8 pm, followed by the region’s finest musicians appearing as featured performers at 9 pm, this month featuring Americana duo Jo Henley.

Open to the public, the Tuneful Brew Coffeehouse invites performers to entertain diverse audiences at the open mic session with their unique talent in vocal, instrumental, or theatrical performances. A sound system and piano are available for performer’s use. Featured acts scheduled to appear this season include Boston-based violinist and singer Rob Flax, Cape Cod singer/songwriter Catie Flynn, and South Shore singer/songwriter Jay Psaros.

Admission is $10 at the door, children 12 and under are free. Homemade baked goods, a variety of tea and coffee are available, donations are greatly appreciated.
