Ben Affleck, Matt Damon's TV Series Premiers Sunday
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon produced "City on a Hill," the new Boston drama, penned by Quincy native Chuck MacLean and starring Kevin Bacon.

BOSTON — A Showtime television series filmed in Boston, produced by two of the city's biggest actors in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and written by Quincy native Chuck MacLean, is premiering this weekend. "City on a Hill," a new cop show starring Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge and Jill Hennessey, airs at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The cop drama is set in the crime-ridden Boston of the early 1990s. The show is about an enthusiastic assistant district attorney Decourcy Ward, played by Aldis Hodge, arriving to town. The corrupt FBI investigator Jackie Rohr, played by Kevin Bacon, sees Ward as an "affirmative action hire," but ultimately the two form an unlikely alliance, taking on a case that shakes the fabric of Boston's criminal justice system.
