Contractor Fined for Wall Collapse at Wollaston Theater Demolition

QUINCY, MA — The contractor responsible for the demolition of the Wollaston Theater has been fined by the Occupational Safety and Heath Administration.

Wednesday, OHSA announced that Jamie McGuinness & Sons was fined $24,000 for a July 12 incident that sent two workers for the hospital, according to the Patriot Ledger.

Police say that two workers became trapped when a 20-foot wall collapsed on them. The workers were taken to Boston Medical Center.
