Over $100,000 in Drugs Found in Quincy Apartment

A search of a Quincy apartment turned up 3,000 OxyCodone pills, 250 grams of cocaine, and more, police said.

QUINCY, MA — A search of a Quiccy apartment turned up 3,000 OxyCodone pills, 250 grams of cocaine, a 9-millimeter handgun with an obliterated serial number, a box of ammunition, a money counter and $11,000 in cash, police said.

Police tell the Patriot Ledger the search came on the heels of the arrest connected to a drug deal that took place hours prior. Yalin Merard and Nickel Fleurima face several drug charges.

During the arrest, police received a search warrant for an apartment where the drugs, weapons, and cash was discovered.

Merard was scheduled to be arraigned Monday and is wanted, along with his roommate Marquis Shaw, for multiple drug charges.

More arrests are expected, police said.
