Quincy Mayoral Candidate Accused Of Egging Neighbors' Houses

Quincy mayoral candidate Brenda Ryan was accused of throwing eggs at two of her neighbors' homes on Cranch Street.

QUINCY, MA — A Quincy woman running to unseat Mayor Thomas Koch in the city's election next week was accused of throwing eggs at her neighbors' homes. The Patriot Ledger reported Brenda Ryan, an author and researcher making her first run for office, was summoned to court, after police said she threw the eggs at two homes at Cranch Street last April.

Ryan told the Patriot Ledger the charge is just an "accusation" and declined further comment. She is due back in court in December for a pre-trial hearing.
