QUINCY, MA — A man was trying to bring his small boat back into Bay Pointe Marina on Saturday night, but ended up overboard. When the man fell into the water, his prosthetic leg came off and sunk 15 feet below, along with his cellphone.

But thanks to a Quincy police officer, the man was able to recover both. The marine unit officer used a remote operated vehicle, controlled by a joystick, to bring the leg and phone back to the surface and return them to the man.
