QUINCY, MA — Two people charged in a shooting that took place in Quincy Point last summer have been indicted by a Norfolk County grand jury.

Just after midnight on Aug. 21, police responded to a shooting on Chubbuck Street. Witnesses told police that the two pulled up to a porch where a group of men were sitting. Following an exchange of words, one of the men punched Monteiro, who allegedly began firing a gun and drove off. No one was injured.

Police were able to identify the two suspects after weeks of reviewing surveillance footage. After the vehicle was identified, police learned it was registered to Cheung.
