Quincy Police Seize $325,000 Worth of Meth, Marijuana, Cocaine

Quincy police said they seized 2,000 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, and 50 pounds of marijuana.

QUINCY, MA — Two men were arrested Monday after police seized more than $325,000 worth of cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine after searching a home at 6 Quarry St., police said. Around 6 p.m., officers saw Jeffrey Wilson, 35, of Roxbury, conduct a drug deal outside the home of Robert Cooley, 35, of Quincy, according to police.

Police said they pulled Wilson over and found eight grams of crack cocaine in his car. Wilson was taken into custody, and police used information from his arrest to get a search warrant at the Quarry Street home.

Police searched the house around 11 p.m. and said they seized 50 pounds of marijuana, over 2,000 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, more than 500 THC cartridges, a pistol, and ammunition. The drugs' estimated street value was about $327,000.

Cooley was charged with distribution of cocaine, trafficking more than 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking marijuana, trafficking methamphetamine, conspiracy to violate drug laws, unlicensed possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, unsecured storage of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute THC.

Wilson was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, interfering with a police investigation, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned in Quincy District Court Tuesday.
