Report of Gun at Quincy T Station Leads to Arrest

QUINCY, MA — A homeless man was arrested near the Qunicy Center MBTA station after police received a report of a man carrying a gun.

Quincy Police Department Capt John. Dougan told the Patriot Ledger that police were called to the train station after a person said he saw someone drop a gun and pick it up. Police located Xavier A. Gonzalez, 23, nearby and found a black pellet gun on him.

Gonzalez was arrested on a warrant. He will face no charges related to the pellet gun, police said.
