Tire Thieves Return to Quincy

QUINCY, MA — A Quarry Street resident had his tires stolen during the overnight hours, police said.

Lt. Jack Sullivan of the Quincy Police Department told the Patriot Ledger that at least two cars were targeted overnight Monday. He said that tires have been stolen across metro Boston.

The resident said he heard a noise during the early morning hours but didn't know something was wrong until he went out at 3:45 a.m. and saw that his tires were missing. Another car on the street also had their tires stolen.
