Vermont Infested with Psychiatrists and Psychologists

MONTPELIER - When reviewing Vermont legislation this year, I noticed a lot of push for increased psychiatric beds, more research money for childhood trauma, more professions that can prescribe psychotropic drugs, more mental health screening, more mental health insurance coverage and more opportunity for children to seek counseling without parental consent.

With so many bills to increase mental health in the state, it looks as if the legislature believes that all psychiatrists and psychologists have abandoned the Green Mountain State. Yet statistically, VERMONT IS INFESTED WITH PSYCHIATRISTS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Per the American Psychological Association, Vermont leads the nation in psychologists per capita www.apa.org/monitor/2014/06/da... and according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, ranks second, only behind Rhode Island , in psychiatrists per capita www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes291... . Psychiatrists and psychologists often falsely claim that targeting children at a young age will help limit future mental health issues. Factually, they just continue making people more unstable by drugging them with powerful substances throughout life as they try to convince people that their mental disorders are permanent and irreversible. Their mental disorders are not even scientific as they are simply checklists of behaviors diagnosed by opinion of behavior. There are no real medical or lab tests to diagnose alleged mental disorders such as would be done with real disease such as cancer or diabetes.

The US is also the world leader in the psychiatric drugging of all people at an astounding 20% of the US population. If Vermont legislators have this information and still feel they need more psychiatrists and psychologists, they must be claiming that Vermonters are the most insane people in the entire world.

In my view, if these legislators are actually correct in feeling that Vermonters are so crazy that they need more and more mental health despite already leading the nation in it [and they are not correct], then these mental health workers and officials are really creating an infestation. That is because they are legislating that more people get labeled with permanent mental disorders. They would also have more mental health practitioners to use subjective mental health screening tests that target young children as lifelong mental patients, and like the Zombie Apocalypse that many horror film enthusiasts fear, the mental health infestation of drugged Vermonters and their expansion of alleged professionals who made them that way will continue to spread.
