The former Quincy woman was already facing assault charges related to the baby's death.

QUINCY, MA — A Weymouth woman has been charged with murder, following the death of her 11-month old niece this past February.
Quincy Police on Tuesday arrested Shu Feng Hsu, 28, of Weymouth, accusing her of killing her niece, Chloe Chen. The arrest followed a report from the office of the Chief Medical Examiner which determined that Chen's cause of death was blunt force to the head.
Hsu was already facing assault charges related to Chen's death, police said. She pleaded not guilty this past March.

According to police, Hsu was living with Chen's mother and father in Quincy, but was home alone with the baby. She called 911 at 4:30 p.m., Feb. 15, telling dispatchers her 11-month old niece was not responsive. The baby was rushed to Boston Medical Centers, but suffered several seizures and succumbed to her injuries two days later.
Police told the Patriot Ledger they have looked through hundreds of hours of home security footage, but none of the cameras were in the room Chen was in. Some cameras however picked up audio, according to police.
