• Raynham man charged with attempted murder after rock attack, police say (newsbreak.com) — A Raynham man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he brutally attacked his girlfriend with a rock on Nicholas Road in town, then allegedly struck a bystander who tried to help. The victim suffered serious head and facial injuries, and officers later recovered a loaded handgun and suspected narcotics. The suspect is being held without bail pending an October 23 pretrial hearing.
